Edge Optimizer (GitHub)

This tool helps optimize models, focusing on some common problems. The first feature helps remove edges which don't add visual detail to the model, such as the edge loops an artist may add during construction, which are usually deleted manually later. This tool can automate the deletetion.

This script opens up a scene organizer and exporter that supports several different file types and naming conventions. I made it in college to help me organize my senior project files. Character and animations by me.

My senior project. I worked on this for about 9 months, learning Unity and JavaScript along the way. I did all of the modelling, animation, and scripting, but the character concepts and overall idea for the game were a collaboration with my friend Duane Wiley. This video is a short walkthrough of systems I built. Unfortunately I was more interested in the technical challenges than the fun aspect! I never aspired to be a game designer honestly.
